Earlier this year, Klipsch introduced its Flexus series which includes two soundbars, wireless surround speakers, and a wireless subwoofer. Klipsch has now announced the upcoming release of a new soundbar, the Flexus Core 300, set for early next year. This soundbar will be priced at $999.

Alongside it, Klipsch will introduce upgraded wireless surround speakers, the SURR 200, priced at $399, and a new wireless subwoofer, the SUB 200, priced at $499. These components are designed to be used together for to improve the overall experience, although the soundbar can also function independently.

The Flexus Core 300 will feature a 5.1.2 channel setup and will be the first soundbar to include Dirac Live room correction technology. Dirac Live is a software-based solution that aims to correct common acoustic issues that cannot be easily addressed through hardware alone. The technology adjusts both the magnitude and phase of the sound system, including the room’s acoustics, to provide a more balanced and clear audio experience.

The Flexus Core 300 will support the Dirac Live Room Correction Limited Bandwidth version, which corrects audio up to 500 Hz. An upgrade to the Full Bandwidth version, which covers the entire frequency range, will be available for $99 through Dirac’s website.

Users can set up the room correction using the included microphone and the Klipsch Connect Plus app, available for both iOS and Android. The app offers a guided calibration process suitable for most users. Advanced users can opt to use the Dirac Live Room Correction App, compatible with iOS, Android, Mac, and PC, for more detailed setup options.

The soundbar will also support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound formats. It includes a combination of up-firing, side-firing, and front-firing drivers, along with four built-in subwoofers, to deliver a full-range audio experience. The dedicated center channel features Klipsch’s horn-loaded tweeter technology for improved vocal clarity.

Connectivity options for the Flexus Core 300 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, Ethernet, HDMI with 8K passthrough, HDMI eARC, USB-C, Digital Optical, and RCA for the subwoofer. The soundbar can be controlled through a backlit remote or the Klipsch Connect Plus app, which also offers EQ presets and streaming options like Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify, and Tidal Connect.

In addition to the new soundbar, Klipsch is releasing the Flexus SURR 200 wireless surround speakers, which feature up-firing drivers. These speakers are designed to be easy to set up, requiring only a wall outlet for power and no additional need for wiring.

Klipsch is also launching the Flexus SUB 200 wireless subwoofer which features a 12-inch woofer designed to deliver deep bass with low latency. Up to two SUB 200 subwoofers can be connected to any of the Flexus Core soundbars for enhanced bass performance.

The Flexus series is designed for modular expansion, allowing users to upgrade their setup with additional components as needed. The series features a design influenced by Klipsch’s traditional styling, with components made from premium materials that complement modern living spaces. The soundbars have wood grain-textured vinyl top panels, metal grilles, and cloth-wrapped fronts and sides.
