In an unprecedented move, Klipsch has teamed up with its sister brand Onkyo to introduce the Klipsch Flexus Sound System. This collaboration marks the first of its kind between the two audio companies, introducing a lineup that was first teased at CES 2024, where it garnered several awards. The Flexus Sound System lineup includes two sound bar models, the Flexus Core 100 and Core 200, alongside the Flexus Surr 100 wireless surround speakers and the Flexus Sub 100 wireless subwoofer.

Flexus Core 100 Sound Bar

As the entry model in the Flexus system, the Core 100 sound bar is a compact yet powerful 2.1-channel unit. It features Dolby Atmos decoding and offers a variety of inputs including HDMI eARC, optical, USB-C, and the latest in Bluetooth wireless technology. Paired with the newly introduced Klipsch Connect Plus app, available for both iOS and Android devices, users gain easy access to input selection, EQ presets, and updates. Despite its small footprint at just 28 inches, the Core 100 features 2.25-inch aluminum drivers and dual built-in 4-inch subwoofers.

Flexus Core 200 Sound Bar

Building on the foundation laid by the Core 100, the Core 200 expands into a 3.1.2-channel setup. This 44-inch sound bar offers a Dolby Atmos experience through two 2.25-inch elevation drivers, four front-firing 2.25-inch aluminum drivers tuned by Klipsch acousticians and dual 4-inch built-in subwoofers. There’s also the integration of Klipsch's horn loading technology for the dedicated center channel tweeter.

Flexus Surr 100 Wireless Surround Speakers

The Flexus Surr 100 wireless surround speakers feature 3-inch full-range drivers and offer versatile installation and wall-mounting possibilities for a multichannel surround sound setup. Designed for straightforward installation and user convenience, each speaker in the Flexus surround series connects directly to a wall outlet, eliminating the need for additional wires or cables between the speakers.

Flexus Sub 100 Wireless Subwoofer

The Flexus Sub 100 wireless subwoofer produces bass through its high-excursion paper-cone woofer. Its compact and sealed construction makes it suitable for small spaces. The system also supports the use of two subwoofers together with the Flexus Core units to enhance the sound in larger areas.

Klipsch's Transport technology simplifies the process of setting up and integrating the Flexus product line by using a pre-paired USB transmitter that comes with the surround and subwoofer units. This feature allows for a quick and easy expansion of the system without the need for complex configuration steps.

Reflecting Klipsch's rich history in design, the Flexus series combines durability with a premium aesthetic. The design features include rounded edges for a more subtle appearance, while the sound bars are finished with wood grain textures, metal grilles over the upfiring drivers, and cloth wrapped around the front and sides.

The Flexus Sound System is now available from authorized US retail partners and Klipsch.com.
