madVR Labs has unveiled the latest addition to its madVR Envy lineup: the Envy Core. This new model is half the size, half the weight, and half the price of the Envy Pro MK2. The Envy Core aims to make high-quality video processing accessible to a broader audience, providing an affordable option without compromising on performance.

The Envy Core will debut at Audio Advice Live in Raleigh, N.C., from August 2-4, where attendees can see it in action. It will also be showcased at CEDIA 2024. Shipping is expected to begin in Fall 2024, with pre-orders available now at introductory pricing through authorized madVR Envy dealers worldwide. The Envy Core is priced at $4,995 in the USA through December 31, 2024, with an MSRP of $5,995. Pricing may vary internationally.

Measuring just 17.25” x 13.5” x 3.5” and weighing only 20 pounds, the Envy Core is a compact unit that fits well in any media room or home theater setup, especially where space is limited. It can easily be mounted behind a TV or placed in a small cabinet. Despite its compact size, the Envy Core leverages the power of an Nvidia 4060 GPU, ensuring it runs cool and quiet without sacrificing performance.

The Envy Core provides the core processing capabilities that madVR Envy is known for. For those seeking additional features, the aftermarket Core Premium Package is available at an introductory price of $995. This package adds extra features and enhancements, and doubles the warranty to four years from the original purchase date. The extended warranty is fully transferable if the unit is sold.
