Apple Introduces New Midnight Color for HomePod Mini
Apple has unveiled a new color option for the HomePod mini: Midnight. This new color replaces the Space Gray version, bringing a fresh look to the existing lineup which also includes Blue, Orange, White, and Yellow. Aside from the color update, there have been no other changes announced for the HomePod mini. The price remains at $99 in the U.S., regardless of the color choice.
A notable aspect of the new Midnight HomePod mini is its construction material. Apple has emphasized its commitment to sustainability by using 100 percent recycled mesh fabric for the Midnight variant, an improvement from the 90 percent recycled plastic used in the other color options, including the outgoing Space Gray.
The Midnight HomePod mini is available for order on Apple’s website starting today and will be available in Apple Store locations beginning July 17.
