iFi Audio has unveiled its new ZEN DAC 3, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that offers a mix of aesthetic upgrades and enhanced functionality aimed at a variety of users from gamers to audiophiles.

The unit includes both fixed and variable output gain options, which allow it to connect with headphones, amplifiers, or active speakers. One of the notable design features of the ZEN DAC 3 is its dual 4.4mm balanced outputs. These outputs are configured to cater separately to headphones and other Hi-Fi equipment, aiming to reduce distortion, crosstalk, and noise.
